Island Camping
Fall asleep to the hush of the tide and wake to a private sandbar. Our bonfire nights end with stargazing and stories shared beneath a sky thick with constellations.
Balabac · Palawan
Where the last frontier meets your soul
The Malaya Welcome
At the southernmost edge of Palawan lies Balabac — a scatter of islands so remote that time itself seems to slow. Kamp Malaya, meaning "Free Camp," is our humble surrender to this last frontier: powder-white sandbars, lagoons the colour of liquid jade, and night skies unbroken by a single city light.
We built Malaya lightly. Solar-powered, locally crafted, and run by the families who have called these waters home for generations. Here, luxury is not excess — it is space, silence, and the privilege of an untouched horizon kept that way.
Our StorySavor Malaya
Fall asleep to the hush of the tide and wake to a private sandbar. Our bonfire nights end with stargazing and stories shared beneath a sky thick with constellations.
Seafood caught hours before it reaches your plate, grilled over open flame and seasoned the Balabac way. Every meal is a celebration of the sea and the hands that tend it.
Glide across glassy waters as the sky melts into gold. Our slow boat journeys trace hidden coves and end exactly where the day's last light touches the horizon.
